KeymasterRay, For your convenience, Iāve compiled all the issues in a shared document so we can both track progress and updates in one place – https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Msija0N3kTkNiZGJ4vTSX-nKoF2ztVC-MRMWLN3k9Cg/edit?usp=sharing
If you encounter any new issues, please feel free to add them directly to the document as well. This will help us stay aligned and respond more efficiently.

KeymasterHello Ray, Iāve forwarded this to our development team for review. We agree that if the free trial and sign-up fee are both set to zero, thereās no need to display that extra text on the course page. Simplifying it to just show ā$1695 for 1 yearā would offer a cleaner experience.
Once I hear back from the team on what can be done, Iāll share an update with you.

KeymasterHello Ray, Thank you for detailing the issue so clearly.
You’re right, the current logic combines the sign-up fee and the first recurring payment into a single initial charge. This behavior is consistent with how Stripe handles subscriptions, and the plugin follows that model.
As for the display issue, since Moodle’s enrolment table only includes a cost field (typically used for one-time or sign-up fees), and not recurring cost, this creates challenges for themes relying on that field to show the course price.
In your case, it seems the theme doesn’t currently support the concept of subscription-based pricing, which is why it’s unable to properly display recurring fees when the sign-up fee is set to 0. We recommend reaching out to your theme developer to adjust the logic accordingly.
If your developer needs any help with the required code snippets or logic, our team would be happy to assist.
June 27, 2025 at 12:45 pm in reply to: Plugin does not interpret mlang/multilang tags when sending data to Stripe #23896dualcube
KeymasterHello Ray, Thanks for pointing this out.
You’re right, the plugin currently sends the full course name (including {mlang} tags) to Stripe, which results in raw tags appearing in the product name and invoice. At the moment, there’s no field to customize the Stripe product name directly from the enrolment method.
We agree that adding a custom name field would be a valuable improvement. Our development team will review this and get back to you with an update soon.
In the meantime, renaming the product manually in Stripe (especially in Test Mode) is safe, as long as the product ID and pricing remain unchanged.
Thanks again for your feedback!

KeymasterHi Ray, after hearing from you, we tried to recreate the same on our end. However as you can see, we didn’t face any such issue – https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/41428168?key=6befdcb8d718df525eba49bfa364ba25
Can you please share how can we recreate the same , so we can assist you accordingly.
June 27, 2025 at 12:10 pm in reply to: Switching between Live and Test API Keys breaks plugin? #23894dualcube
KeymasterRay. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The error occurs because Stripe separates Test and Live dataāso a Live Mode price ID won’t work in Test Mode. We agree that having a toggle to switch between both API keys would improve usability. We’re exploring this feature but will need to confirm if Stripe allows such a setup without causing conflicts.
For now, please create the same products and pricing plans in your Stripe Test account (just like you did in Live mode), and then update the plugin settings with the corresponding Test Mode price IDs.
Weāll keep you posted on any updates. Let us know if you need help configuring this.

KeymasterHello Ray, we have checked this on our end. yes, you are right, it is not showing the discounted price. However, if you select Paymwnt Gateway Types as “Stripe Element”, then it will show correct data – https://prnt.sc/f-pS6YOv6QuQ
and https://prnt.sc/CKESUyYAulE3
Please note, in Stripe it is also showing the updated data – https://prnt.sc/RMspVEeGbCd5
We have notified the issue with our team, so they can work on the fix.

Keymaster@papahepcat, we are happy to help.
For now, I am closing this thread. If you need any further help, please do open another thread.May 24, 2025 at 10:14 am in reply to: Error when attempting to update to 3.5.0, Build: 2025051900 #23738dualcube
KeymasterHello @papahepcat, Our latest version requires Moodle 4.4.10, because as per Moodle this is the bug free version of 4.4
So, kindly update your Moodle to this version and install stripe pro after that.
Let us know if you need any further help.
